The older I get,
the uglier,
the more disenchanted,
the more cynical,
the more embittered,
the more informed (??),
the more philosophical,
the more forgiving,
the more charitable…

I marvel…

At the hypocrisy of Man.
At the ability of Man to “self justify” and “rationalize” his bullshit to himself.
The “causes” which “Hypocritical Man” espouses, so fervently in his own warped self esteem, run the gamut of every “good cause” and every “charity” that Man has ever dreamed up. But he is FULL of it.

It’s all bullshit. Man, fundamentally, is a sack of shit.

Wrapped up in “compassion” and “caring” you will find pure self interest. And the only thing that perpetuates this nonsense, are the “groupies”, the “devotees”, who actually believe.
Every time Barack Obama, the community leader with the “paper thin resume”, comes up on television, I have to laugh out loud: you feel this intense emotion…

HERE COMES THE GIBBERING IDIOT…

Self interest, selfishness, extreme ego, boundless vanity, hubris to the nth degree…
Lack of knowledge, lack of understanding…
All dressed up…

As “compassion”, and “change you can believe in”.

  1. Ah, Moggy…maybe ya better go back to weaving yer stories…I think the politics is getting to ya.  Trick is….be all the things you are and not let it touch ya.

Rumi said "What strikes the oyster shell, does not damage the pearl."

  2. I just have this picture of the likes of Ghaddafi over the years… and not just him… and there he stands…
How many Western statesmen and business people have bowed and scraped and genuflected and purred and SUCKED UP to that unspeakable tyrant and monster…?

    MY PEOPLE LOVE ME!
MY PEOPLE WOULD DIE FOR ME!
I SHALL LEAVE MY BLOOD IN THE SANDS OF LIBYA…!!

THEY EVEN LOVE IT WHEN I DROP BOMBS ON THEM!
THEY LOVE ME WHEN I ROLL TANKS OVER THEM!
THEY LOVE IT WHEN I CRUSH THEIR DREAMS!

FOR I AM GHADDAFI, AND MY PEOPLE LOVE ME!

This is one sick world, full of hypocritical, lying, two faced, slimy, underhand, incredibly selfish MONSTERS.

A good vent once in a while…. feel better now.

  3. And the next question is…WHY have the varied leaders of the world sucked up to him so vociferously, eh? And ignored what he and his cohorts have done to the poor, to women, to anyone who tried to make their way w/out the ‘major sucking up’…which I might add, probably requires a vacuum sufficient as to draw ones brains into one’s nostrils…?

For what is in his country…for it’s strategic military location….and the best part…now that the people there are begging for help..we’re already involved in Vietnam-type war in 2 countries that costs more money than we have…we owe our hineys and our souls to the Chinese (who are communists, and could call our loans any time), but we’re damned if we help these new rebels and damned if we don’t. Consider this…perhaps we are all damned.  Gas prices going thru the roof in America and elsewhere…but the moratorium still ain’t really lifting and fracking is as dirty a word as though ya left out the ‘ra’ and put in the U…. No jobs, a recession that’s trying to recede again..and everyone so split over politics…they’re forgotten that this country is at peril…so they stalemate, dance the political minuet and the people of America wait and wait for help only to realize as Mr. Henley put it…we’ve gone and followed the wrong Gods home.

Ahhhh, Moggy….hard to find balance in all things my friend…and some place for sanctuary…where one can still appreciate the things we DO have left. Wordsworth said it much better, "Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, glory in the flower; We will grieve not, rather find, strength in what remains behind."

Five minutes of that…is like paradise.
