MOON DREAMS

Posted on January 19, 2008

I have been always fascinated
by Moon and discovery
of this unique sphere
kept me for years in suspension
what truly is on the Moon?
Is there any Life?

Are there any possibilities
for the future that we can
think of relocating
I have been meditating
on the question
reading books about it
written by people
who all say emphatically – Yes!

I went to sleep begging the Spirit
to tell me who was it on the dark side
of the kitchenette
did not seem to be clear
as it came from the faucet
rather more whitish could have been
because of air in the water
alternatively something else
I do not know.

I was too busy working
to question about that
before I came home
I was in a car with someone
who was driving there?
seemed to be some kind
of competition for space
on the road as well-
and the dark side of the Moon.

I was not aware of that yet
finally I have seen many cars
and a red light ahead-
we could not stop in time
in addition ahead of us I could see
a five or six cars pileup.

We crunched into the last car
in front of us though-
I do not think anyone hit us from behind
nevertheless, there was a person up front
whose entire car came apart?
was delivering mussels-
from the seashore to restaurants.

The drivers were all sorry for him
because his entire catch of mussels
was all over the street-
I woke up and can’t get that song
out of my head-
singing cockles and mussels alive…alive… O’
this was the darkest side of my Moon flight!

  1. I’m fascinated with anything to do with Space and the Universe.
When you start contemplating Time and Distance in our Milky Way… I often think it places our worries and our preoccupations in a fresh light. How can Man be proud, and satisfied with his achievements, when he is so small and puny?

    Good job, Missy!

  2. Francis~ I am also fascinated by the outer space. The unknown is like a magnet, pulls me onto unknown. I feel so much for the Shuttle that have exploded few years ago seconds after the take off! I must share my thoughts with you. Often I think that we have another life on different planets. It is just feels that way. I am not speaking out of suspicion. It is my own personal intuition that tells me that we have others somewhere in there far away in the time and the distance as you described in your wonderful comment!

Yes it is definitely a food for thought.
How small the man is toward the UNIVERSE!…

Thank you for the lovely comment!…
