Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch
There is a place I go deep within the taverns of my nocturnal sleep
Where there are no grays, whites, or blacks
There are meadows of greenery which I run
Then shades of oranges to red become my route
I run as fast as I can
Jumping with all my might
Till I reach my haven
It’s filled with children’s voices, laughter and what not
The pumpkin patch is a school for learning
my heartbeat goes atop
For no children are in there
dark and twisted this is found
but holds a stable love in my heart for my pumpkin patch
