upon this summer concrete,
we’d kneel and doodle…
creating our childhood
fantasies all over warm walkways

very few words… and a very rich image.
I’m seeing myself as a kid drawing chalk boxes on the pavement, and hop-skipping along.
The "warm walkways" is an interesting way of conjuring up the relative bliss and innocence of that early time.
